Usage of karungali in ones daily life
How to use for the first time
Before using the Karungali Mala for the first time, it’s customary to purify it by washing it with water and/or performing a simple ritual to cleanse it of any negative energies.
Setting Intentions
Sit in a quiet and peaceful place where you won’t be disturbed. Hold the Karungali Mala in your hands and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Set your intention for using the mala, whether it’s for meditation, prayer, or spiritual growth.
Chanting Mantras or Prayers:
Begin by holding the mala in your right hand (if you’re right-handed) and using your thumb to count the beads. Start with the bead next to the guru bead (the larger bead at the center) and recite your chosen mantra, prayer, or affirmation with each bead you count. Move to the next bead after completing each repetition until you’ve circled the entire mala.
Cleansing of Karungali after every use
After each use, it’s advisable to cleanse the Karungali Mala by gently wiping it with a clean cloth or exposing it to sunlight or moonlight to recharge its energy. Store it in a clean and sacred place when not in use
