How to Use a Rose Quartz Mala
1. Setting Intentions
- Choose Your Intention: Before you begin, decide on your intention or the specific goal you want to focus on, such as self-love, healing, or attracting positive relationships.
- Infuse the Mala: Hold the mala in your hands, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths. Visualize your intention and infuse the mala with your desired energy.
2. Mantra Selection
- Choose a Mantra: Select a mantra or affirmation that resonates with your intention. For rose quartz, mantras related to love, compassion, and emotional healing are ideal. Examples include “I am worthy of love,” “I open my heart to love and healing,” or simply “Om.”
3. Meditation Practice
- Find a Comfortable Position: Sit in a comfortable position with your spine straight. You can sit on a cushion, chair, or directly on the floor.
- Hold the Mala: Hold the mala in your right hand, draping it over your middle finger, with the guru bead (the larger bead) resting between your thumb and index finger.
- Begin at the Guru Bead: Start at the guru bead and move your thumb to the first bead next to the guru bead.
- Recite the Mantra: With each bead, recite your chosen mantra or affirmation. Move your thumb to the next bead with each repetition, continuing in a clockwise direction around the mala.
- Focus on Your Breath: As you recite the mantra, focus on your breath and the energy of the rose quartz. Let the soothing properties of the stone enhance your meditation.
